Time to get a more upbeat journal at my front page.
Originally, I wanted to post several small Journals, but I think, I spare you the journal spam... so... this will be long ;D
It'll still be 2 Journals though, sorting the meme's out to a second one is the better approach I think ;)
Also, I sorted it into different categories, which I will post bold. So skip what doesn't interest you.

Spoiler Warnings ahead for Doctor Who and Sherlock. I'll put this to the end of the journal, so it's easier to skip, and I'll tell you what kind of spoilers you can expect at the beginning of the category. It's only some minor spoilers that are mostly common knowledge yet, no big spoilers obviously (a little hint on Sherlock, but not written out clearly, and I think it might only make sense if you know the spoiler already, so don't worry too much).

Categories are:
- PC
- Creative Progress
- Games
- Doctor Who & Sherlock

Have fun! :D

PC

So... I got a new PC last year... :D
And it's amazing! Only 30 seconds until it starts up! The old one took, what, 15 minutes at least at the end? And even before, it always took me at least ~3 minutes.
I also can play games on highest graphics right now, without problems (though it's only a matter of time, till I get a game where I have to put the graphic properties down a bit ^^), which is so pretty.
On Christmas, my boyfriend and my mom also surprised me with their present. Next to some Doctor Who stuff I actually dared to wish for (x3), they got me a new PC monitor from BenQ, which improved the graphics even more.
I really enjoy this fast working, pretty looking beast~

Creative Progress

My Book is going on pretty well!
I mean, I'm still in the planning phase, but hey... I'm about to enter the preparation phase soon, which I'm actually proud of ^^
But there's also another thing I want to state officially here:
I've given up on drawing.
At least until my book is finished, which will still take a good while.
I mean, when I want to draw something for fun - I might do it. But since I got this new PC, I haven't bothered to either install Sai or my Graphic Tablet - and I'm not missing anything.
Don't get me wrong. There's no need to encourage me, or to tell me that my art isn't all that bad, or anything like it. I didn't made this decision out of the blue, or out of some mood. I thought a lot about it. And I found, that it's pretty stupid to spent time on something which I don't improve, and don't really want to improve, instead on spending the time on something I CAN do, and CAN improve - namely my writing. It's more reasonable to focus on my book instead, and I live very well with this decision :)

And as little Side note:
This Friday I'm gonna shop some supplies to create my very first Shadow Box. I want to try my luck and create one for my mom, who's birthday is next Monday. Wish me luck :D (mostly, that I find a good box to create the Shadow Box in x_x)

Games

So... some words about the Games I played "recently".
I'll keep it short:

- I reached a point where I stopped playing Pokemon more and more. Won't stop forever, I'll come back to it :) Probably when the Pokebank is finally released - though I'm gonna play White and Black 2 then ;D
Last time, I worked on completing the Pokedex, and that's something I certainly want to achieve.
- The reason for my Pokemon break was the new Zelda - what else! :D Yeah, I played "A Link between Worlds", and it's amazing! But what should I say, there's only one Zelda that failed to amaze me so far XD
The Dungeons are especially amazing. Desert Palace stunned me with it's Music and the Dark Palace is just genius.
- Speaking of Zelda, I'm also playing Windwaker HD right now. And dear god is it pretty! Totally worth buying a Wii U for it, especially if you're interested in some of the games yet to come :)
- On the 3DS, I'm currently catching up with Ace Attorney. I played the first two games back when they got released, but due to time issues, I had to pause, and then forgot too much about the story. I caught up to it thanks to videogamesawesome and started the third game just in advance to them - though I'm already at the fourth while they are still at the 2nd case (incl the tutorial-case) of the third. The fourth... well... it has it ups and downs, but I still enjoy it so far.
- Speaking of Ace Attorney... why can't I find Dual Destinies on Amazon? That's so weird... o.o
- Some short Steam-Recommendations:
Cook, Serve, Delicious! - surprisingly addicting and fun!
Serena - it has a nice story. Sure, it's short (took me half an hour) - but hey, it's for free!
Contrast - was a very fun ride ^^
Broken Age - Really amazing! Get it!
- Picross. I love Picross. Yay to Picross e3 on 3DS. That's it. Just... yay. XD

Doctor Who and Sherlock

I'll try to make it quick with this one.
But be aware: I will include minor Spoilers for:
- The Night of the Doctor (mini episode/prologue for the 50th anniversary special)
- The Day of the Doctor (50th anniversary special)
- The Time of the Doctor (Christmas Special)
- Sherlock Season 3
Nothing too serious, nothing that's not already known to most of these show's fans, but still, warning placed :)

The Night of the Doctor was a real surprise :D And it's great to finally see one of the two regenerations, that were missing so far. Also, my first time to see Paul McGann as the Doctor, I really liked him. I wish we could get more of him (Come on, Moffat! Give us a small spin-off with the 8th Doctor!)

The Day of the Doctor was a real joy. I loved it so much.
It was so great to see Tennant again, and Hurt really left an impression - he's another Doctor I would love to see more of! And, last missing regeneration revealed ^.^
The Moment was very funny, too. Overall, I really enjoyed it, I laughed, I got teary (dammit, 10!), and I also saw it in 3D some time later - which added to the experience :D (Not the best 3D I've seen, but it was used very well)

The Time of the Doctor was so touching... and a great good bye to Smith. 11 got the goodbye he deserved, he really deserved. Also, I like how Moffat closed the plotholes he created through the last seasons (well, most of them - the biggest ones are still in Manhattan and a certain asylum...). I also read that Moffat stated, that he didn't planned in advance, but that he continues the story as it goes... so I guess he answered to some complaints and found a way to cover them - fine for me XD
Also, Capaldi made a great entrance! I'm looking forward to season 8 ^.^

Sherlock! Miss me? :D
Don't know what to say, it was a great season. It's funny, again, how Moffat couldn't explain how Sherlock survived the fall. I mean, we got 3 theories, and all 3 have holes and don't work when you think about it. So we still don't know, how it really worked out. I think, not even Moffat knows this to be honest...
But hey... there's an even bigger hole to cover now, hu? Let's see if he can explain "this" in the next Season...
Also, I really enjoyed Mary. She's amazing XD

Just out of curiosity, what do the planning and preparation phases of your book encompass?
