For the "Best Friend" Contest of :iconponiesforeverypony:, and just in time...

I was worried that I might not be able to finnish it after we got guests today, but luckily, I made it.
Even though I had to abandon the wish of a more quality shading, but well...

The idea started as I saw an OC Pony with a protese leg. I liked the idea and started to think about how a wheelchair for a pony would look like...
And several thoughts later, this came to existance

This features my OC Feather Flight (the Pegasus) and my new OC Striking Spark (the paralyzed Unicorn).
I allready talked a lot about Feather Flight, so I'll spare you the repeat.
Striking Spark wasn't born that way. She even got her Cutie Mark before her paralysis. Back then, she was an excellent runner, which may not be usual for a Unicorn. Her Cutie Mark symbolized this, as "she runs so fast, that her hooves strike sparks". Then she had an acciddent, which paralyzed her from the middle of her body to the end. From that point, she concentrated on her magic and improved it. Now she has a special talent for lifting skills, improved them to a point that she can lift her back on her own, to be able to lift herself in and out of the wheelchair (for example to go to bed), as well as everything she needs. She also made use for these skills in her work, as she started to perform heavy craftmanships, lifting and working on heavy objects without difficulties. So her Cutie Mark fit again - as sparks are flying on her work.

Striking Spark is a very confident and strong pony, showing everyone that she's not weak because of her handicap. And Feather Flight is a more calm pony, that doesn't look for the spotlight. But when they're together, these roles are swapped. Feather Flight becomes strong and confident, and Striking Spark relaxes and let herself be "rescued" for once.
Just like the picture shall tell.

I hope I don't have to explain that the fight against the dragon to protect Celestia is just the fantasy, that Feather Flight shares with Striking Spark ;D

Aww, that is so adorable, and don't worry i got that fantasy part right away. due to there positions, and from what they are wearing. Really great artwork as well. As that wouldn't be enough, It's similar to my main OC. A pegasus that loved to run, and was in an accident that prevented her from doing so. But I went another route with it.

Well as a filly, she lost her right foreleg, and spent 5 years using peg legs. That she broke when she tried to run with them. But eventually met someone that could help her. With the catch that she became his personal maid. It took a year before she left him, With a mechanical leg in place where her right foreleg had been. But even after that everything wasn't as before. Even if she could run again.
